About the Crew

We have over 25 years of experience fishing in Florida and The Bahamas and have been running fishing charters for over twelve years while providing top-notch fishing experiences for our guests. Our captains all hold United States Coast Guard Captains Licenses and always prioritize guests’ safety.

Our Captains and mates are extremely knowledgeable in Kite fishing, deep dropping, bottom fishing, trolling, live bait fishing, and any other type of fishing you may want to do aboad the Hook Me Up! We strive to create a fun and memorable experience for all guests from start to finish. We enjoy taking out guests of all skill levels, especially kids and families!

The Hook Me Up crew have traveled worldwide chasing Billfish, Tuna, Wahoo, and tons of other trophy fish. They are also all seasoned tournament fisherman. EPIC EXCURSIONS

We know the waters and have years of experience in commercial fishing. Whether it’s a day of off-shore fishing or a weekend to the Bahamas, it’s going to be epic.

Sailfish, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Wahoo, Blackfin Tuna, Cobia, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Amberjack, Yellowfin Tuna, Great Barracuda, Snook, Tarpon, Swordfish, and more can be found in these waters, depending on when you go.

Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself spinning, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. George can also help you try kite fishing.

Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are also a good idea so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!

Your boat for the day is a 35’ Center console that holds up to 6 passengers. It comes with downriggers and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without.

Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, along with lures. Live bait is available, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

You’ll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
